Indianapolis

Today the kids and I went to Indy with my parents and my niece, Hunter. My mom had a doctors appointment and we had decided we would go shopping after. Charlie isn't tough to bribe into shopping. All it took was to mention looking at shoes and she was hooked. Brennen is only slightly tougher. I had to bribe him with a promise of a pretzel. While waiting at the doctors office Charlie noticed this glass sculpture. First, let me warn you. The sculture was of a woman from the waist up, in her birthday suit. Okay, so Charlie notices this sculture. She points to it and says, "mommy, lady?" I answer her with a yes, that is a lady. Then, "Mommy, lady long hair?" Again, I reply, "Yes Charlie the lady has long hair. Finally, the comment I had been waiting for. "Mommy, lady boobies!" to which she immediately begins laughing hysterically. Of course the doctors office wasn't empy and my face was at that point the color of a lobster. Thankfully no one heard, or at least they were all polite enough to pretend they hadn't heard. Brennen, seven going on seventeen was totally disgusted by this. He rolled his eyes and signals to Charlie that yes we already know what those are.
